Third Degree by Julie Cross

This is good story with a good message. Sometimes so much stress is placed on young people and it pushes them to their limits, especially when they are not emotionally mature enough to deal with things.

The story follows Isabel "Izzy" Jenkins a super genius child prodigy, who at 18 just failed the emotional readiness test required to practice medicine and when told she needs to wait 6 months to re-test, she decides to re-enroll incognito in college as a freshman to try and live through all the milestones she skipped.

Enter super-hot and really decent nice guy, Marshall "Marsh" Collins who recognizes Izzy and befriends her. Marshall starts to help Izzy become more sociable and developed. As their friendship continues, their feelings grow for each other.

It's a really sweet story about friendship and love, and understanding. You will love the characters, Izzy at first comes across as a bit ultra neurotic, but as you read, you get to know see all the pressure she was under. Marshall is like your typical boy next door type, he's sweet, he's funny and he doesn't come across as an annoying douche.

Overall, you will like the story, the characters are very down to earth and relatable.
