Oh my god this story was amazing.
Logan used to torment Amy when they were kids, then much to Amy’s joy he moved away.
Many years later Amy is loving her job and life, but who should walk into her place of employment? If you guessed Logan, then you got that right.
At first Amy wants revenge, especially after Logan doesn’t recognize her; it’s finally her chance to get even.
Revenge quickly turns to love, because Logan is no longer the pain in the butt kid he used to be. He’s become the guy that will accept Amy’s revenge in good stride and is actually sorry for what a jerk he was.
Both characters played off each other really well and really made the story enjoyable. Logan was an absolute delight, he really wins you over.

I had a love/hate relationship with this one.
It’s a good story, but you just had so much going on that at time you just got pulled away from the main characters of this story.
The main characters in this story are Hannah Parker and Brannon McKay, but so much of the story was spent on other characters that sometime I felt they got left behind.
The whole murderer angle really does get you hooked, so I will definitely be coming back for book three.

Zatanna makes an appearance and helps lift the “swamp” curse from Alec, because that will not backfire.

And zombie dude is back for round 2. Swamp Thing isn’t very bright sometimes, but he does know how to punch.

It was and okay read, it had a couple of witty puns that made me crack a smile.
Was there drama?
Well, I’d say the other Guardians Drax was with come across as kinda jerky.
Am I looking forward to the next issue?
I normally love anything with Cullen Bunn, but this one felt like it was aimed for a younger audience [not saying I’m old, but at my mid-twenties, this one didn’t speak to me].

Was I entertained?
I love these old school short horror stories from the 50’s. They have a way about them that remind you of simpler time when horror was more in the implied than in the gore. As I read, I was actually remembering Tales From the Crypt. I was a very happy reader.
Was there drama?
Each story has its own novella drama that keeps you wanting to get to the end.
Am I looking forward to the next issue?
This printing will consist of 3 issues, each collecting different stories from decades ago. You bet I’m looking forward to getting through all 3 issues.
