Text Me by Erin Bevan

This short valentine novella was enjoyable and whimsical.

A year ago Grayson Turner took some very, very, very bad advice from his brother and broke up with Erika Lyons via text; yes text, like ultra-douchy.

Well Grayson is back to make things right and win his lady love and what better way to do it than through text. Granted he has to be a little incognito, but still love will conquer technology.

The only thing that would have made this story better would have been if Grayson had straight up told his brother “I will never take advice from you, ever”

Heartsong by Sara Walter Ellwood

I wasn’t a big fan of this story. Now don’t get me wrong the story was well written and had an engaging plot, however the lead man came across as too much of an ass and the female lead too weak.

Gabriel McKenna ran off with another woman before his wedding to Michaela Finn. Gabriel become a big music star and Michaela practically lives her life like it’s on standstill. A tragic event leads to a marriage of convenience, but even when you hear Gabriel’s inner thoughts you just think ass. In my opinion not much love for a romance.

Poison Ivy: Cycle of Life and Death #1 (of 6) by Amy Chu (Writer), Clay Mann (Artist)

One of my all time favorite bad gals from Gotham is back and this time she's got a new job.

Pamela Isley aka Poison Ivy has gotten a second chance and is working at a swanky lab in the botanical gardens. Things look good for Ivy, but it's Gotham so we know somethings gonna go down.

In this exciting new series we get some mystery, a murder and a visit from my favorite craZy gal, Harley Quinn.

The art is of course not to be left behind; we have incredible art to accompany a very promising storyline.

Calling Her Bluff by Kaia Danielle

We’re back in Vegas for the romance writers convention and author Kamaria Wilson is out to show she can survive in Vegas, even if she need a little help from sexy bodyguard Jack Aldirisi.

This story was short but it was full of steamy scenes and some very good action. I absolutely love these Vegas stories.

The Christmas Secret by Jeannie Watt

I’m not sure how I feel about this one; usually I like second chance romances but this one just didn't feel right. I would have accepted if Lil Reynolds had had a relationship with anyone but Casey Lanigan’s younger brother and then rekindle her relationship with Casey thanks to a snow storm.

Plus all these issues with Casey and his family, I felt like a little more resolution was needed there.

Even at the end Lil and Casey didn’t really seem to have sparks, the story was entertaining, but again I didn't feel the love, Casey didn’t make me swoon.

A Very Grey Christmas (Kissing Eden #3) by T.A. Foster

In this delightful Christmas novella, Eden is about to spend her first Christmas away from Grey. But lover boy will not let that happen, so he braves a very romantic trip.

This was a nice conclusion to Grey and Eden's story, complete with Christmas magic.

Undeniable: Evolution and the Science of Creation by Bill Nye

We all know his name, we all know what he looks like and we all know the famous bow-ties.

I'm talking about the guy that entertained big and small, I'm talking about, Bill Nye the Science Guy.

In this book Mr. Nye covers some very controversial topics. While this book may not appeal to everyone, I found it a very enjoyable read.

It's clear and informative in a manner that gets the reader hooked. Plus the puns and jokes are so funny.

Stepbrother, Mine (Stepbrother, Mine #1-3) by Opal Carew

I've read many of Ms. Carew's work and as always this one does not disappoint.

It has all we've come to love; angst, drama, and steamy scenes.

I just wish Mason didn't play hot and cold with Dana; that was the one thing that had me so annoyed. Half the time I kept wishing Dana would get over Mason and the rest of the time I was like don't give up on him.

If You Believe in Me by Natalie J. Damschroder

I am a sucker for the "lost love, I have faith romances" and this one was so sweet.

Amber Benedict fell in love with Kale Riker, but when Kale is declared missing in action and everyone else is laying him to rest and moving on she refuses to believe he's gone.

Kale was sent on ultra-super top secret missions and for that he needed to be "dead", but not a day goes by that he doesn't think of Amber.

Just when it looks like it might be another year with Kale gone a miracle happens and he moves hell and high-water to get home to Amber.

Just so sweet. Loved this story.
