The Texas Cowboy by Katheryn Lane

The story follows Jack, a Texan cowboy and Victoria (aka Vicky), a British tourist. The story was nice, it's a love at first sight kind of thing. Jack and Vicky are very likable characters; Jack is your typical silent type cowboy and Vicky is a very relaxed go with the flow kind of girl.

Vicky is in town visiting her cousin Laura, whom I personally found irritating as hell, there are not enough words to describe how shallow she is. Anyway, Vicky and Jack develop a romance, except Jack left out 1 very important detail when he made a reference to his ex, and it's not ex-girlfriend, its ex-wife (not divorced, just separated). The twist in the book was totally not what I was expecting, it will shock you.

This book would have scored much higher with me if the ending was a little longer, the ending just didn't wrap up as nicely as I would have wanted.

I still say read, if you have time to kill, grab a copy, it's a quick short story that will keep you entertained.
