Beauty and the Bull Rider by Victoria Vane

This a lovely story that will have you rooting for Delaney’s insanities and Zac’s gestures.

The connection between the couple is amazing.

Batman: The Black Mirror by Scott Snyder

This is a Batman adventure where Dick Grayson wears the cowl and we’ve got some serious crazy baddies up and about.

The story was good and the art was impressive; but seriously, damn does Dick spend a little too much time on his back.

#TeamBruce because he is still the best Batman.

Batman: Europa by Brian Azzarello

Loved this. It’s a psychological thriller where the great question of the co-dependency between the Dark Knight and the Joker gets an answer.

It’s a little dark both in story and in art, that many might not find this an enjoyable read, but if I could use one word to describe it I would say “WOW”.

It’s not the “Back to the Future” you’re used to, but it was entertaining.

Harrow County #1 by Cullen Bunn

Was I entertained?
I was terrified. The horror lover in me is very interested.

Was there drama?
Well, if you turn a blind eye to a witch and then burn her alive, things will get dramatic.

Am I looking forward to the next issue?
Most definitely; plus look at that cover. You know things will get crazy scary.

Bloodshot Reborn #1 by Jeff Lemire

Was I entertained?
My interest was piqued.

Was there drama?
I wouldn’t call it drama, more like a psychosis / crazy trauma induced hallucinations.

Am I looking forward to the next issue?
I am, they give us a crazy killer that looks like Bloodshot and we have our real Bloodshot going like “Oh no!”

The Dark Tower: The Gunslinger Born Sketchbook by Stephen King

Was I entertained?
I was intrigued. The old west / mystical angle was captivating.

Was there drama?
There was a fight, but I wouldn’t say drama.

Am I looking forward to the next issue?
The concept seems interesting so I’d like to see where Stephen King takes this story.
