Ms. Cormack did a great job, one of the best books I have ever read, I loved Garrick, I need to book a flight to London and find me a Garrick.
Garrick was great male lead, most romance novels make the guy be such an ass to the girl, but through out the whole book, you see a natural development of the characters relationship.
Bliss was very quirky and a little shy, but as a female character she worked for me, she wasn't a doormat.
I like that the characters didn't jump straight into sex or as Bliss says "the beast with two backs", a lot of books have the guy using sex as a way to control the girl but here you see a development between them, you see their love and friendship grow and move into that stage.
I will however say, if you don't reciprocate someone else's romantic feelings, don't let them believe in a maybe. Maybe's only hurt and change friendships.
So glad the next book is Cade (who you will meet in this book) because as a friend he was just incredible and he deserves his happy ending.
This series is a must read and I recommend you read the books in order.
