I got a free copy of this book from the publisher and since its part of a series, well I had to buy and read the first one. Anyway, even if you don't get the first book, the second book gives a good background on the characters so it's easy to follow.
The story is about Nolan and Reed, they were high school sweetheart and college sweethearts. Reed is talented football player and Nolan is studying to teach special needs students. The story follows the stress attending different schools puts on their relationship and how misunderstandings almost tear them apart.
Despite being king jock, Reed is a really down to earth guy that sometimes does make a stupid decision or two, but he always knows that no matter what he loves Nolan, that she's his one.
Nolan is your typical girl, she has her insecurities and is trying to get through school. She has bit of a breakdown when tragedy strikes and through a series of misunderstandings feels that Reed has left her.
Once both Reed and Nolan begin to communicate a bit more, things get cleared up and they start moving towards fixing their relationship. The story has a happy ending and I love that their love is able survive the ups and downs of life.
It's really nice and sweet story, you will really enjoy it, I just wish that story was longer.
