Years later, Avery is a second year law student and working as a summer associate as a small law firm that gets swallowed up by a much bigger one.

At a welcome reception for the new recruits Trent can't believe his eyes, the woman he's loved for years is standing right before his eyes.

Avery and Trent get a second chance once buried secrets and truths come out into the open.

The story is a short sweet novella; I read it all in one day and it was nice. Both Trent and Avery are likable and I do hope to see more of Ms. Reese's writings.
