Velvet, Vol. 2: The Secret Lives of Dead Men (Velvet #2) by Ed Brubaker, Steve Epting (Illustrator), Elizabeth Breitweiser (Illustrator)

22823536Well, Velvet Templeton is now being hunted, but who said a spy turned secretary turn fugitive in her 40's can't kick some major ass. Ms. Templeton can give James Bond a run for him money. As Velvet continues her investigation into who set her up and who turned her whole life into a lie, things get super crazy. Just when you think things are can't get any crazier, Velvet learns there is a whole new game being played and she is not as up on the game as she thought. We meet new players and new enemies that will keep us running to the next issue.

The art of course is incredible; and am I the only one that is loving Velvet's hairstyle and that experimental suit, damn, bulletproof, knife proof and bite proof. Now that is a spy suit. The storyline, not to be left behind, really delivers; you really gotta love spy stories.
