Okay, I would have given this book a higher score except the story reminded me of the worst thing one of my friends ever said to me, "Your brother has a nice ass"; seriously wrong on so many levels. Those are the kind of words no sister ever wants to hear said about her brother.Vanessa Hewitt meets a good looking guy named John (no last names exchanged) at a bar, they hook-up and she shares all of this in full XXX detail with her best friend Jess. Months later Vanessa is helping Jess with her engagement party and Jess brings up that baby bro Jack will be coming to help Vanessa with the party.
John "Jack" Campbell is back in town for his sister's engagement party, but first there's someone he wants to see; except their reunion isn't as exciting as he thought when they learn who the other is.
The story is short and traumatic, I mean dramatic; it's only traumatic if you're a sister that received way too many details about her brother. The was great, John was such a softie, I was rooting for him the whole time. Vanessa was nice and I even loved the whole confronting over critical mom. I did feel like the book needed an extra chapter or two of just John and Vanessa; but as a love at first sight type of story it worked nicely.
