Claire Lindell is coming off a very bad romantic experience, all she wants is a quiet Christmas alone, so she flees New York and goes all the way to a small town in Yorkshire, England. Her arrival is less than stellar, on day one a sudden snow storm causes her to crash her car into an embankment.
Noah Bradford is out looking for a lost sheep stuck in the mud when Claire comes to help, Prada boots be damned.
These two strike up a quick friendship that eventually turns into a second chance at life and love. The story is sweet and full of Christmas miracles; after all what is more miraculous than putting together Christmas at the last minute. There are a few ups and downs, especially with a father trying to bond with his daughter and trying to get a new outlook on life. Overall, you'll enjoy this nice holiday read.
