Playing House by Donna Brown

23574241This story was so sad and sweet at the same time, David and Emma Thomas are on the brink of divorce; following a tragedy that really tested them.

Upon deciding the distribution of assets, they decide that to make things even they need to purchase the second painting by a very famous painter and they can each walk away with one.

During their journey they finally begin to open up to each other and speak about their traumas regarding this tragedy. A couple of unsavory characters further aid in bringing these two closer together and helps them save their marriage.

The story is short, but it's very emotional and sweet. I loved the way the couple comes back to each other and that they get their happy ending.
