Sheridan Farlow just got stuck with covering a romance novel convention in Vegas over a high ranking political event. Obviously she is pissed, especially since the one that pulled her from that assignment is her dad, the one that is always comparing her to her dead brother.
While in Vegas, Sheridan meets Bernard "Mac" Mackenzie a male romance author. Sparks fly and after clearing up a small misunderstanding and a whole lot of fun, these two are able to have their happy ending.
What I didn't like about the story is that there is this constant issue with Sheridan and her dad, yet they never have a conversation, nothing. I felt like we had this piece of chocolate cake dangled in front of us and then had it yanked away from us. Though I did love Mac, he was just funny.
