I love Ms. Baxter's works; she has a way of drawing the
reader into her stories.Nate Christensen isn't looking for love, between past betrayals and some traumas he's just looking to get past his father's funeral.
Chloe Benson is looking for some serious money to save
her charity.
After one night together Nate starts to think he might be able to build something with Chloe; Chloe will now seek her money elsewhere.
When old trouble and new secret come back to haunt them will they stand strong or not?
Like all of Ms. Baxter's works, this one does not disappoint, however, I would have loved if we got to see the confrontation between Nate and his ex and maybe a little more groveling on his part.
