Baby on St. Barts (St. Barts #4) by Emme Cross

There were just one too many misunderstandings between Sunny O’Hara and Sven Larsen that almost tore them apart.

The all the tragic events, just wow.

I loved Sven’s letters to Sunny, however this book lost points with me because all of the drama with them basically happened because neither of them would just speak to the other. Like “Sunny I’m sorry I reacted badly, I love you, please forgive me” or “Sven, I have something to tell you …”

Still it was a good entertaining read and for that I say read.

3 Wishes (A Candy Hearts Romance) by Peggy Jaeger

This was supposed to be a lightweight romance between Chloe San Valentino a fine chocolates maker and Dr. Matteo "Matt" D'Amore. Unfortunately the romance between these two was overshadowed by the secondary romance in the story.

While there was a nice romantic spark between Chloe and Matt, the whole Chloe's father cheats on his wife of 40 years and then leaves her for a young gold-digger only to be forgiven after he has a heart attack. This whole side story completely detracted from the potential of this story.

Ms. Jaeger had a good thing going with the love at first chocolate between Chloe and Matt, but she killed the romantic vibe of this book with Chloe's parents.

The Sheikh's Secret Bride (The Adjalane Sheikhs #1) by Leslie North

It is never okay to trick someone into planning their own wedding or picking a bride without letting her know.

Janna Davis gets hired by Adilan Adjalane to plan his wedding; the only problem, she doesn’t know she’s the bride.

We have a great romance-drama here, my only issue was the ending; the resolution of the story felt too rushed. Aside from the ending, I enjoyed the story and the whole secret bride angle.

The Billionaire Heartbreaker (The Billionaire's Club: Texas Heartthrobs #3) by Mandy Baxter

Ms. Baxter just knows how to engage her audience with her super hunky men that learn true love can change anyone.

Reily Martin has been called to reign in and remake Travis Christensen, hockey’s bad boy; should be easy, remaking people is her specialty.

Travis obviously won't take being assigned a “handler” so easily, but the more time he spends with Reily the more he fall for her.

The way these two characters come together was really sweet, they get to know each and see behind the outer image and they fall for one another.

It’s a short, captivating story with great characters that will hook romance lovers.

One Christmas Wish (Heart of the Rockies #2.5) by Sara Richardson

25530285This was such a sweet second chance romance centered around the holidays. Julia Noble has been in a wheelchair for years, but despite that she is perfectly capable of taking care of herself and she is out to break away from her overprotective family. Julia is in no way looking to reconnect with an old crush.

Isaac Nash is torn between keeping Julia’s secret of escaping her overprotective family and keeping a promise to a friend of finding out what his sister is up to. And this is where our story begins.

A road trip brings these two closer together and gives them a second chance to over come the mistakes of their teenage years.

The characters were likable and you could really feel for them, for their struggles and their dreams. I really enjoyed this story and I was so happy with the way things turned out.
