Thomas Paine has always been a favorite for me; a brilliant man well ahead of his times in ideology and thought.While this work is predominantly a huge-slap to the face to Edmund Burke’s critique of the French Revolution; Mr. Paine made many good points that although aimed to reflect his times resonated strongly with the current standing of our government.
