What YOU Can Do About Bullying by Max and Zoey by Ari Magnusson, Greg Marathas (Illustrator)

This is a book I really think parents should pick up not just for their kids, but for themselves as well.

This book covers what children in different age groups should do to address bullying.

It’s a really good book that gives an insight into how to approach your children and how to guide them. Unfortunately we live in a time when bullying has become such a problem and broaching the subject is hard. This book really takes a helpful and instructing approach to bulling.

Octopus Pie Vol. 1 by Meredith Gran

I was somewhat entertained, but I really couldn’t get into this.

The author has a solid book here; just wasn’t for me.

These I always find a must; they tell you what’s good and what you need to check out.

If you’re starting to get into comics, you may want to grab one of these.

Paracuellos, Volume 1 by Carlos Giménez

This was a moving read about the plight of the children in fascist Spain. Carlos Gimenez does a great job in recounting these events of a past he lived through.

Rasputin, Volume 2 (Rasputin (single issues) #6-10) by Alex Grecian

This one was a very interesting read. I enjoyed volume 1 more, however, this one did not disappoint.

Unlike volume 1 this story takes place in the modern day and Rasputin recounts his past to nosy reporter.

The whole time I’m enjoying the story very much; then I got the end and I get a cliffhanger. I was all into the story and now I’m speculating if this reporter will squeal that there is a man that can bring the dead back.

Canticos: Los Pollitos / Canticos: Little Chickies by Susie Jaramillo (Illustrations)

I love, love, love this cute little tale for the little ones. Its songlike spelling made it such a fun read. What was even better was that the story came in English and Spanish so it was a delight to the kids.

Bottled Up: April Fools For Love by Roxy Mews

This is one absolutely funny second chance romance.

Nate was an absolute delight and Betty was great. I wish these two would have communicated a little more, it would have avoided a misunderstanding or two.
