Project Virgin by Megan Crane

This story had steamy scenes, but I really didn't feel the love between the main characters Damon Patrick and Scottie Grey. There was really no relationship development and then it ends with it's love.

In addition what really annoyed me is that Scottie never really tells her fiancĂ© off, like really that douche was stringing her along for so long and she was completely oblivious to what a jerk he was.

I think I would have like the story more if it had maybe a chapter or two more that really showed the characters connecting in more ways than just physical.

Going All the Way by Cynthia Cooke

I just could not really like this story; Carrie Steinhem is divorced and yet she still lets her cheating, douchey ex-husband walk all over her.

Ryan Burton is single and after meeting Carrie it looks like he may be meeting someone worth sticking around for the long haul.

My issue with this story constantly revolved around Carrie's ex and Ryan's current client and Ryan constantly making references to his failed past relationship and his mother walking out on their family.

The big apology and the epilogue were nice and were able to salvage the story for me.

Last Chance Christmas by Joanne Rock

This was a second chance romance at Christmas time.

Shea Walker and J.C. Royce parted under less than happy circumstances in their youth. Since then Shea has rarely been back to her hometown since; and no it wasn't just her bad breakup with J.C., but her father's inability to understand that she didn't have the love for hockey that he did.

I couldn't really feel the romance between these two; in all honesty the story read like a "hey, I'm still attracted to my ex ... so lets bang". The story and characters did have some redeeming qualities but not enough to score a higher rating from me.

Falling for Christmas by Kate Hewitt

This was a second chance at love and life romance story.

Hannah Ford and Sam Taylor are about as opposite as two people can possibly be and they both have some issues.

But a blizzard, a car crash and a chance meeting lead to a sweet love story.

Cin Wikkid by Mary Hughes

Loved this story.

You have your modern day Cinderella who is about to meet her Prince in disguise.

Plus, you'll love the grand ball. I'd like to tell you all about her ball gown, but where's the fun in that.

If you love your fairy tales, then definitely check out his fun filled
story.

Everybody Dies: A Children's Book for Grown Ups by Ken Tanaka

This is book takes a hilarious approach to death. The topic is a bit grim and might not seem appropriate for everyone but it's a true tale.

The illustrations just add to the comedy factor making this an entertaining read.

I Wish You Were Mine (Oxford #2) by Lauren Layne

Jackson Burke thought he married the love of his life Madison Carrington, but after seeing behind the pretty veneer and a nasty divorce he's enjoying single life.

Enter Mollie Carrington, his ex-wife's sister and alienated friend. When Jackson offers to let Mollie crash at his place their friendship moves to the next level. The only problem, Madison is one ice cold calculating be-ach and she's not about to go away when she thinks she can still exploit Jackson.

The story was good, you had drama and entertaining characters. My only issue with the story is that Mollie never stands us to Madison; during the whole story she refuses to see what a horrible person her older sister was.
